Despite their current reputation politicians are bloody busy. Or they are when they've squeezed in a photocall between meeting interest groups and preparing for conference.

So I had no time at all to shoot the Scottish Lib Dem leader Tavish Scott earlier this week as he backed the NUS Scotland campaign 'Overstretched and Overdrawn' against the rising levels of student debt. Dragging him away the actual purpose of the photocall, to erm, talk to the student leaders, I grabbed a portrait in Edinburgh's student union Library Bar.

However, just as Tavish has publicly backed that campaign their national leader, Nick Clegg , has hinted their longstanding commitment to abolish tuition fees may have gone with the good times.
