That's a damn fine cup of coffee!

I only had a slim grasp of who Kyle McLachlan was before I did his portrait for the Scotsman this week.

But he's Agent Cooper from Twin Peaks, Trey from Sex and the City and he's in Desperate Housewives too. So that makes him the most famous I person I've photographed.

He's taking part in the Pro-Am Dunhill golf tournament in St Andrews this week like he does every year.

And like always seems to be the case when doing portraits of high profile types you get less time than with the average court snatch.

It's not surprising. After being interviewed for nearly an hour I'd want to get away as well. There's golf to be had after all and I was getting in the way.

But the bigger names don't just ask for you to finish. They actually walk off the job, saying 'Okay that's it'. And to be fair, if he hadn't said it I would have kept it going for as long as I could manage, but faced with Agent Cooper saying enough is enough who could argue?
